Walley integration FAQ
What to know before connecting Walley to BubblaV.
How do I connect Walley?
How do I connect Walley?
In Walley Merchant Hub, open Manage Organization → API keys → Create new → Api key and copy the Client ID and Secret. Then open Dashboard → your website → Integrations → Walley, click Connect, paste both values and submit. BubblaV validates the key and adds the two Walley tools. What data can the chatbot see?
What data can the chatbot see?
The two tools read Walley data only. One looks up an order by order number and email: status, payment method, items, refunded amount and invoice payment status. The other lists a customer's latest orders by email. Personal ID numbers, names and addresses are never shown in the chat.
Why does the chatbot ask for an email address?
Why does the chatbot ask for an email address?
The email address verifies that the person asking is the customer who placed the order. The order number alone is not enough, so a visitor cannot look up other people's orders.
What is the difference between test and production keys?
What is the difference between test and production keys?
Test keys come from the test Merchant Hub (merchanthub.aks.uat.walleydev.com) and only see test orders. Production keys come from merchanthub.walleypay.com and see live orders. Tick the test box when you connect with a test key, or the key will be rejected.
Why does the chatbot say the order is not found?
Why does the chatbot say the order is not found?
The order number and the email must both match the order. A very new order can take a minute to sync, so try again shortly. Also check that the key matches the right environment, test or production.
Can the chatbot refund an order?
Can the chatbot refund an order?
No. The Walley tools are read-only. The chatbot can tell a customer whether a refund has been made, but it never refunds, captures or cancels anything.
How do I replace an expired key?
How do I replace an expired key?
Create a new API key in Merchant Hub. Then use the Walley card in Dashboard → Integrations, click Disconnect, and connect again with the new Client ID and Secret. The same steps switch between test and production.
