How does the Zendesk integration work?

BubblaV integrates with Zendesk using API token authentication (email + API token). The AI handles initial customer inquiries and can create tickets in Zendesk when escalation is needed. The integration can also search resolved Zendesk tickets to find answers from previous support cases. Webhooks sync agent replies from Zendesk back to BubblaV conversations. All conversation context is preserved in the ticket when created.

What authentication method does Zendesk use?

The Zendesk integration uses API token authentication with your Zendesk subdomain, email, and API token. These credentials are stored securely and used to authenticate all API calls to your Zendesk instance.

How do webhooks work with Zendesk?

When you connect Zendesk, we generate a unique webhook token. You configure this webhook URL and Bearer token in your Zendesk admin settings. When agents add comments to tickets or tickets change status, Zendesk sends webhooks to BubblaV, which syncs the updates back to your live support conversations.

What Zendesk plans are supported?

BubblaV works with all Zendesk plans. The integration uses Zendesk's standard REST API (v2), which is available on all plans. You need API access enabled in your Zendesk account settings.

Is my Zendesk data secure?

Absolutely. We use API token authentication and store credentials securely. Webhooks are authenticated using Bearer tokens. All API calls are encrypted, and we never expose your credentials. We comply with GDPR, SOC 2, and other data protection standards.

Can I customize how conversations are converted to tickets?

Yes! When creating tickets, you can customize the subject, description, priority, and include customer email and name. The integration allows you to control ticket properties through the ticket creation tool configuration.
