How does the Telegram bot work?

When a customer sends a DM to your Telegram bot, our AI answers using your website's knowledge base. It answers text messages. If someone sends a photo, file, or voice note, it asks them to type their question. On the Pro plan, you can take over the conversation from the Live Support dashboard.

Do I need a developer to set it up?

No. Create a bot with @BotFather on Telegram, copy the token, and paste it into the BubblaV dashboard. We validate the token and register a secure webhook automatically — no code or OAuth required.

Does the bot reply in groups?

The bot responds to private (1:1) DMs. Group messages are ignored by design, to avoid noise in shared spaces.

What happens when the AI can't answer?

If the AI is unsure or the customer needs complex help, the conversation can be escalated to a human agent. On the Pro plan, you can open these chats in the Live Support dashboard and jump in anytime.

Is there a messaging window like other platforms?

No. Unlike some platforms, Telegram has no 24-hour messaging window — the bot can reply to any DM at any time.
