How do I add the bot to my Slack workspace?

Click the "Add to Slack" button to start the OAuth authorization flow. You'll be redirected to Slack to authorize the bot for your workspace. Once authorized, configure the bot in your BubblaV dashboard.

What permissions does the bot need?

The bot needs permissions to read and send messages, access channels, and view team information. These permissions are requested during the OAuth authorization process.

Can I configure which channels the bot responds in?

Yes! You can select specific channels where the bot should be active, or allow it to respond in all channels where it's a member. Configure this in the BubblaV dashboard.

Does the bot require @mention to respond?

You can configure whether the bot requires @mention. By default, it only responds when mentioned to avoid spam, but you can disable this for dedicated support channels.

Can the bot respond in threads?

Yes! You can enable thread responses to keep channels clean. The bot will reply as a threaded message instead of a new channel message.

What information can the bot access?

The bot uses your website's knowledge base content to answer questions. It does not access private Slack conversations unless specifically mentioned.

Can I use the bot in multiple Slack workspaces?

Each BubblaV website can connect to one Slack workspace. For multiple workspaces, you would need separate websites or upgrade to a plan that supports multiple integrations.
